Eva Said "D A D I"

So, finally a new word has come out! She has been saying Mumma, Papa, Dada, Nana, Mama etc, but today when I reached home, mom told me that she will give me a party today because eva said "D A D I".

My mom was so happy today! The enormous amount of joy Eva brings to her grandparents, such a lovely site to watch!

Trying Selfies With Eva

It was nothing but a normal Saturday morning. Eva had fever since yesterday evening. The medicines were already given. She woke up at 2:30 in the morning today. We gave her medicine and some water. She was not feeling well from within.

She is such a darling, she was not in such a good mood, but I wanted to take some selfies today (inspired by the recent most retweeted Oscar Selfie by Alan: http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/mar/07/oscars-selfie-most-retweeted-ever ). So, here are today's snaps, I know Eva is not her 100%, but still looks good. She has started gaining good hair as well. Here is a post embed directly from facebook.

Eva's Hair Removal

There was a yearly Havan at our deity - Samor Ma, so the occasion was special and a perfect day to get Eva's hair removed. All the arrangements were done by Devendra Kaka (Canada) for the Havan including the breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Luckily Shailesh Bapa and Ajay Kaka are also present for this auspicious ceremony. Ajay Kaka had badha (બાધા) that he will come for Samor Ma's darshan if Avni clears her 4th paper in Canada. Avni did it with flying colours, So Kaka, Kaki & Avni are here.

We left from home early at around 5:00. The buses were also arranged by him. My princess will be without hair today, it was making me sad but I wanted to get it done as well.

The hair cutter was called in the afternoon. He came at around 3 with his blade to remove the hair. Just after he started removing the hair, I realised how painful it is for any parent to see his/her child in problem. Eva was in tears just after the first blow. I carried her in my arms, mom and dad held her hands. She was very disturbed due to the fact that everyone was holding her and something was being done on her head. She moved her head so violently that she had several bruises on the head. The blood was oozing out from little bruises. I have never been in such a painful situation ever in my life. My heart was crying from inside, but I had to be strong. My mom and Pooja were also in tears. Riddhi was lucky enough not to see this, as she was unable to come near temple due to ladies problem.

I am really sorry Eva, I will make sure this will not happen again. Come what may, I will never make you cry again ever in my life.

So, this is how she looked after the hair removal. Doesn't matter hair or not, you will look cute forever, my darling! She is such a nice kid, after finishing the massacre, we gave her a nice bath and diverted her mind to other things. You can see in the last picture how happy she was at the end!
